One of the best Pop Albums Ever! - This is one of my favorite cds of all times! I m including it with cds like The Beatles Revolver and Peter Gabriel s So. It is so difficult for me to find good music, but Andru is a true genius and his debut album says it all!! All the songs are perfect, and each one is diferent, but still is a part of a whole. These are the kind of perfection you could seldomly find in cds like Revolver or Rubber Soul. Even though this is my favorite, I easily recommend his other cds.
Me too! - I just read the previous review, and I have to say, ME TOO! I only heard it a few times when I was much much younger but I never did know any info about it, and I tried to find it for YEARS, and then one day I typed in the only line I really knew I knew for sure and it came up! Loving you is Heaven, missing you is Hell I can t believe it. What an awesome song and a great artist!
10 Long years and I finally found it!!! - WOW!! I can t believe it has taken me 10 years to be reunited with the song mishale. I just would like to tell my story. I heard this song only a couple times when I was young on a local radio station KDWB in the Twin Cities. I loved the song, sang it in the shower and everywhere I went. I unfortunatly never caught the title of the song or the artist. I called the radio station asking for the artist of the song michelle and they would tell me the beatles or that they didn t know. I searched every music store, internet and anywhere you can think of to find this song! I only knew the chorus and was singing it until this day when I was playing my guitar and found a great lyrics search site. I typed in loving you is heaven and missing you is hell and to my suprise the song came up! I could not even beleive it. I immediatly started a download and it only got half the song. I called my little brother who with me has searched all 10 years. I played it over the phone to him the part that I had and we sang along. What an amazing song. I just want to acknowledge Andru Donalds for this masterpiece and I will be purchasing the CD very soon!! Finally reunited.
A Talent That Should Be Bigger! - I bought this CD over 7 years ago after I heard the song Mishale on an underground university radio station. Let me tell you. This guy has a super voice and the songs on this album are fresh and alive. With the right mix of instruments from guitar to keyboards, this CD has not one weak song. I do not understand how this guy is not more famous. I listen to this CD over and over while driving on long trips and it inspires me as a musician. Get it!
A Personal Favorite - Caught Andru Donalds performance of Mishale as he promoted this album on local Miami TV in 1994. Was haunted. It has become a deeply treasured favorite, thanks to Donalds flawless vocals, subdued passion, and lack of pretense or predictability. Plus, for some reason this album seems to resurface in my life at moments of personal evolution, wish I could explain that bit of magic.
