Combination of Great Voice with Great Music - This is a great album that every Enigma fan must have in their CD Library. This album fully packed with highly sophisticated pop music with melodies. I love the grow of the album. Mecheal Cretu and Jens Gad have done wonderful job to make the album beautiful. All songs are very catchy. Music are so smooth and pure and not mushed. Great recording. This proves that Cretu s ability to produce music whatever fans want. His talent is unratable. I must say something about Andru. I loved his voice since he involved with the Enigma project. Unfortunately still many don t know how much his talent and how much his voice is strong. Great Voice. I love him. The best songs of the album(in my point of veiw):LET S TALK ABOUT IT, ONE NIGHT LOVER, HURTS TO BE IN LOVE, SEND ME A SIGN. MY PLACE IS HERE.
Shame This Was Not Marketed In The U.S.... - Some will try to compare Donalds voice to Seal or even Terence Trent D Arby with regards to his vocal talent. But rest assured that Andru Donalds is a unique recording artist in his own right with his own vocal characteristics to set him apart from the pack. This is Donald s second European collaboration with Enigma producers Michael Cretu and Jens Gad as a solo artist. However, do not expect that same ambient or new age sound often associated with the Enigma project. The tracks on Let s Talk About It deal with life and love matters but without the mush. The sound is a hi-tech yet laid back one but with an edgy or semi-raw feel (some smooth guitar work on such tracks as What Kind Of Girl). Some tracks do have an atmospheric somber but never a moody or bogged down feel to them. It is pure or sheer artistry and collaboration between Donalds and part of the Enigma team! A few tracks will be reminiscent of the popular trip-hop sound (title track Let s Talk About It). Do not compare or try to compare this to anything he has done with Enigma as far as vocals,usually Donald s vocals are masked or heavily synth-processed to fit in with the Enigma musical scheme for that project. On his solo Cretu/Gad produced albums his voice is unprocessed and truly his own !
